- With this placement option, breast implants are inserted below the muscles of the chest. Submuscular placement is useful for women who do not have sufficient breast tissue to cover the implant. This placement can reduce the risks of visible implant imperfections and may help to reduce strain on the skin
- Dual Plane. With this placement option, implants are placed partially underneath the muscle and partially above. Dual plane implant placement helps to obscure the edges of the implant while offering a more natural-looking result than subglandular placement. This placement is also ideal for procedures during which both breast lift and augmentation are being performed
