Both BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® are wrinkles relaxers that can be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and deep wrinkles on the face and neck. Popular treatment areas for wrinkle relaxers include:

- Around the Lips and Mouth
Wrinkle relaxers may also be able to gently lift sagging jowls, smooth the condition “pebbly chin,” and reduce the appearance of neck bands as well. But as each of these areas is different in both size and shape, the type of wrinkle relaxer used can have a fairly big impact on the results you can expect.
Diluted vs. Concentrated
BOTOX® Cosmetic is highly concentrated. This makes it ideal for small areas with fine lines, such as crow’s feet (next to the eyes), frown lines (in between the eyebrows), and bunny lines (on the bridge of the nose). A single BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment can last for up to four months and touch-up treatments can safely be performed every few months to help ensure longer-lasting results.
The formulation for Dysport® is more diluted. This makes it a good solution for larger areas where it can spread quickly and efficiently. Dysport® can eliminate wrinkles from the forehead and similarly large areas for up to six months. As with other wrinkle relaxers, touch-up treatments can be used to extend results.
Jeuveau™
A newer addition to the field of wrinkle relaxers is Jeuveau™. This product undergoes a proprietary purification process that helps to make it safer and more effective for some patients. Results from Jeuveau™ can last for up to five months. Touch-up treatments, performed every three to six months, can help to ensure continual results.
